Presenting the Birdie Audio speaker, an innovative breakthrough in portable audio technology! Designed for mass production injection moulding, this speaker is built from the ground up to be robust, light-weight, and convenient for travel without compromising on sound quality or music experience.
Through multiple iterations and full rapid prototyping, we took the initial idea and developed the concept through to a final manufacturable product. While completing the initial research and product development we used the latest 3D CAD software to create multiple designs. Using this software we were able to calculate and develop the optimum volume of the enclosure void as well as the depth and size of the bass port needed to ensure that the speaker created the best sound possible.
Designed for self expression
With the ability to change materials between runs, the injection moulded design allows for different colours and material properties while only using one injection mould tooling.
