Batch
Production
Manufacturing low batches of products and parts using additive manufacturing technology and proto-injection moulding.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
We are able to produce parts and products through SLA and FDM additive manufacturing as well as create 3d printed moulds for injection moulding and silicone casting, all in-house.
-
For FDM 3d printing we typically use PETg, TPU, and PLA. For SLA 3d printing we use ABS-Like resin as standard. For proto-injection moulding we work with polypropylene (PP) and TPU. We also work with liquid silicone rubber to mould silicone parts as an alternative to TPU.
-
This depends on the size of the product or parts being made. We have capacity to produce batches of 100 to 1000 units for small parts however this decreases as the size of the part increases. We also facilitate low product batches from 5 to 50 units.
-
The cost per unit depends on the size and complexity of the product/parts as well as what manufacture process you require to produce them.
-
To produce a batch of products or components, we require a 3d CAD (usually STEP, STL, or 3MF, we also accept SolidWorks files). Additional 2d drawings, assembly guides, and product information are helpful but not always a requirement for us to begin.
